altruistic, brave, faithful, dedicated, honest and a heroic woman. For that she
interview Aibileen, a housemaid who worked in white and rich family and Skeeter
question her about her life. She is 53 years old and has cared for many
children during her life. She is daughter and grand-daughter of servant's

the social conventions of her century.
Critics
The subject of the film is more interesting in many
points. Firstly, the topic concern the inequality between black and white
people during the twenties centuries. It's an important point in our society
because behind, the black's people are persecuted just for the color of their
skin. And this film denounces all of the injustice done to black people. We are
very interested in this topic but it's not the kind of film we are used to
watching.
Description of one scene
The scene takes place at Aibileen's house. When
Skeeter comes back home, she can see many black maids. Aibileen tells Skeeter
to join them. Everybody looks at her and one per one they proclaim their
approbation. We can hear two stories. This scene demonstrate that black maid
overcome their fear and shows us the courage of the woman. They found the faith
to do it. They seem to be happy to help Skeeter in her cause.
