Synopsis         The Help is a movie which takes place in Mississippi during 60’s. It tells the story of Skeeter, a young white woman, who wants to become a writer. She started a journalist job. Her goal is to write and publish a book that will be approved by Elaine Stein, the boss. She wants to write about the living conditions of black housemaids. Skeeter is a girl who has curly red hair; she is quite tall, she haves some freckles in her face. She is altruistic, brave, faithful, dedicated, honest and a heroic woman. For that she interview Aibileen, a housemaid who worked in white and rich family and Skeeter question her about her life. She is 53 years old and has cared for many children during her life. She is daughter and grand-daughter of servant's family. Over time she learns to affirm herself and finds the courage to challenge the social conventions of her century.
